Audience: Please note that there is a prerequisite for this training. This virtual 2-hour session is designed for individuals who previously participated in our introductory IEP training (either in-person or virtual.) This training is appropriate for individuals who are responsible for creating, revising, and monitoring IEP goals and objectives for students with social-emotional and behavioral challenges, such as school psychologists, school social workers, school counselors, special education teachers, and special education administrators.
Description: In this session, we will review our learning from the introductory training and then take a deeper dive into developing meaningful objectives based on students’ current behavioral presentations. We will practice taking mediocre objectives and turning them into exemplar objectives that are not only measurable, but are effective in guiding behavioral instructional planning or treatment planning. Additionally, participants will learn how to write rubrics to measure complex skills and will learn to prepare a data presentation depicting rich student growth over time to share at IEP meetings.
Please know that registrations are non-refundable!
A recording of the webinar will be available to paid participants for one month following the training.
